Crocker Park Announces Fifth Annual Food Truck Challenge

Northeast Ohio Food Truck Association (NEOFTA) presents Crocker Park’s fifth annual Food Truck Challenge sponsored by Cobos Insurance on Saturday, October 5 from 11am-4pm. Cleveland’s best food trucks will be lining up on Crocker Park’s Main Street to compete to win the “best of…” one of ten categories being judged.
This fun and competitive event hosts an impressive list of food trucks all offering special and unique menu options with live music from Billy Morris and the Sunset Strip all afternoon. Beginning at 11am, the community can try as many food trucks as they wish and cast their votes for the various categories on the ballot.

Categories include:

  • Fan’s Best Overall
  • Best Looking Truck
  • Friendliest Truck

Along with local celebrities voting on the food trucks in the following categories:

  • Best on a Bun
  • Best in a Wrap
  • Best on a Plate
  • Best Veggie
  • Happiest Ending
  • Best Through a Straw
  • Judge’s Best Overall

“We are so excited to celebrate the fifth annual Food Truck Challenge this October with NEOFTA, Cobos Insurance, and over twenty delicious local food trucks,” said Stacie Schmidt, Vice President of Marketing at Stark Enterprises. “The collaborative efforts of our local area food trucks and the community to support these local businesses and host some healthy competition is the perfect way to end another fantastic food truck season at Crocker Park!”

The Food Truck Challenge presented by NEOFTA and sponsored Cobos Insurance is free to the public. Winners will be crowned on the main stage at 3pm by a panel of guest judges and local foodies including WKYC’s Austin Love, Channel 19’s Chris Tanaka, Fox 8’s Todd Meany, and Edible Cleveland’s Lisa Sands. Participating food trucks include Smooth Rider, Sweet! Mobile Cupcakery, Off The Griddle, Krav, Smash Time, Flamingo Jack’s, Pasta Tivo, Hatfield’s Goode Grub, Hatfield’s Sweet Tooth, Beardens, Swat BBQ, Cookery, Wrap It Up, Smokin’ Rock N Roll, Smokin’ Rock N Roll on Ice, River Dog, Wild Spork, and many more.
